Kimchi in Poland. Stories of Poles in Korea

What brought our ancestors to Korea? Can places connected with previous generations of Poles be found in Seoul? What can we say about the Polish cultural heritage found in the Land of the Silent Morning? Did you know that in Yongin there is a monument to the 20th anniversary of the Polish Language Department at the Korean University of Foreign Languages?

As part of our 'Thursday at ease', we will try to find the elements that link Poland and Korea - countries that are almost 8 000 kilometres apart. We will take a look at both the biggest cities and small towns, recall the names of Polish artists who have had the opportunity to create their art in these lands, and take a peek into... Korean cuisine!

The secrets of Korea will be revealed by Dr Anna Diniejko, university lecturer, translator and Korean language teacher, as well as author of books on Korean issues.
