Biography:

Klemens Kołaczkowski (coat-of-arms Abdank) (1793-1873), born in Poznań, general, participant in the Napoleonic Campaign of 1812 and the November Rising, during which he was commander in chief of engineering services and general quartermaster. Knight of the French Order of the Legion of Honour and of the Polish Order of Virtuti Militari. Author of the multi-volume Memoirs.
