Information about the object:
The tombstone of Michał Wiszniewski (1794-1865) an outstanding figure of Polish intellectual life. He was a professor of Polish literature and author of a monumental history of literature, a lecturer at the Jagiellonian University and a politician. He briefly served as prime minister of the insurgent government during the 1846 Krakow Uprising. His pioneering work Character of Human Reason is considered the first Polish work on psychology.

Completed works:
The aim of the project was to restore and secure the burial place of Michal Vishnevsky in the Cimiez cemetery in Nice. The work consisted of restoring the inscription and conserving the stone elements of the gravestone.
