Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Būšėnai

The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Būšėchė, which had a defensive function, was built between 1624 and 1638. It was destroyed in 1674 during the Tartar invasion. The church was rebuilt in the 18th century. During the renovation of the temple, in the mid-19th century, the defensive elements of the church were dismantled: walls and towers.

In 2018, the Polonica Institute funded the conservation of the church's entrance portal.
