Kościół Zwiastowania NMP w Kretyndze powstawał w latach 1609-1617. Poddany przebudowom w 1908 i 1941 r. W wnętrzu znajdują się obrazy z XVII w. przedstawiające fundatorów: Jana Karola Chodkiewicza i jego żonę Zofię. Na drewnianych drzwiach wyrzeźbiono głowy Jana i Zofii Chodkiewczów oraz ich dzieci.
