The cemetery in this village was established on 7.07.1944, when the wounded and killed soldiers of the Home Army began to be brought to the church. The necropolis was established on a hilly area covered with thick forest. Over time, civilian burials began to appear around the soldiers' graves.

The Home Army soldiers' quarters used to cover a much larger area, the remnant of which is the single grave of soldier Stanisław Michałowicz, situated to the left of the present quarters, just off the main cemetery avenue. At present, the section consists of 6 individual graves and a mass grave. In the individual graves rest: Henryk Iwaszkiewicz, Leonard Siemaszko, Romuald Chrzczanowicz, Czesław Hoppen, Zdzisław Bułak and Władysław Wojciulewicz. A monument in the form of a vertical slab was erected on the mass grave. The main inscription reads: "TO THE SOLDIERS of the 1st and 3rd Home Army Groups killed in the Operation "Ostra Brama" in July 1944. III Brigade "Szczerbiec" VIII Brigade "Tura" I. III. V Bat. 77 pp. O. R. K. O. "Grom". HONOUR TO THEIR MEMORY". At the very bottom of this plaque is an inscription in Lithuanian: "Čia ilsisi AK Kapiai Zuve, 1944 metais". On either side of the main inscription are engraved the names and nicknames of 53 soldiers.

In addition, various sources give the names of 61 more soldiers buried in Vilnius Colony who are not commemorated on the above monument.
