The grave of Polish Army soldiers killed in the Polish-Bolshevik war and of cavalrymen of the 27th Uhlan division who died after the war

In the cemetery on Kutuzov Street there is a Polish war cemetery. Soldiers killed in the battles of 1919-1920 and lancers of the local Nesvizh 27th lancers regiment, who died in the interwar period, were buried there. After 1945 the graves were devastated. They were tidied up by local Poles in 1991. In 1997 a cross was erected by the Guard of Polish Graves from Wrocław. The quarter consists of 5 rows of earthen graves fenced with low, concrete, tapering borders, inside which are set concrete Latin crosses. There are 37 graves, with the grave of nurse Helena Pruszyńska just in front of the quarter. The renovation of the cemetery section was carried out in 2020-2021 by the Foundation in Aid to Poles in the East within the framework of a task subsidised by the programme of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage "Places of National Remembrance Abroad". Due to the considerable deterioration of the tombstone material, granite replicas were made.
