This time, as part of the "Thursday at ease" series, we will travel along the Latvian trails and together we will discover the secrets of old Polish manor houses and the famous families who once lived there, including the Plater, Borch and Kierbedzi families.

We will rediscover somewhat forgotten Polish graves in Dyneburg, Riga and Kraslaw, as well as visit churches where there are still many traces testifying to the former Polish presence in these places. There will be no shortage of information about the conservation work being carried out with funds from the Polonika Institute on objects important to Polish cultural heritage.

Dorota Janiszewska-Jakubiak, Director of the Polonika Institute, will be our guide during our Latvian journey.
