Biography:

Ludwik Sokołowski (1882-1936), Polish architect and lecturer. A volunteer in the war in 1920, a soldier of the 1st Brigade of the 1st Regiment of Legions. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Technical University of Lviv and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. From 1921 he was an associate professor of Architecture at the Stefan Batory University in Vilnius. Among other things, he designed the edifice of the State Technical School in Holendernia in Vilnius (1925). Awarded, inter alia, the Medal of Independence in 1938.
