Maria Hiszpańska-Neumann (1917-1980) - Polish painter, graphic artist and illustrator; active in Bulgaria, Poland, Germany and Sweden. During World War II, she was in the Ravensbrück concentration camp and did forced labour in a factory in Neubranderburg. Between 1954 and 1955 she travelled to Bulgaria. In the 1960s she collaborated with publications from the GDR.
