Biography:

Marian Langiewicz (1827–1887), born in Krotoszyn. He studied law in Wrocław and Berlin. He lectured at the Polish Military Academy in Cuneo. In 1862, acting on behalf of the Central National Committee, he helped organise the uprising. From 1865, he lived in exile in England and Switzerland. He died in Constantinople.
