Mikołaj Dembowski (c. 1680-1757) - Catholic clergyman, Bishop of Kamieniec in 1742-1757, Archbishop-designate of Lviv. He held the posts of royal secretary and grand crown scribe, and was awarded the Order of the White Eagle. He supported the Frankists and initiated the famous religious disputation in Kamieniec Podolski in 1757. Founder of the Baroque reconstruction of the local cathedral and its furnishings.
