The designer of the McKinley Bridge (McKinley Bridge) in St Louis was Rudolf Modrzejewski, a well-known Polish-American bridge engineer. It is a truss bridge with a total length of 1,924 metres that was completed in 1910, linking the banks of the Mississippi River and thus uniting the states of Missouri and Illinois. This bridge is one of Modrzejewski's earlier surviving designs.
