Tombstone of Acyli Pietkiewicz

Vilnius | Lithuania
The burial site marked by a cross on a boulder with a bevelled front and apex. Cross on pedestal bordered by a stepped border, with arms ending in an arch in a donkey's back framed by rhomboidal caps. On the front an engraved inscription.

Acyli / PIETKIEWICZ / żył lat 29 / umarł w 1846 r. Maja 6 d. / Zasmucona Żona ten Pomnik wznosząc. / te słowa wyraża. / Spoczywaj spokojnie i czekaj mnie. //.

The 1st, 6th, 7th lines of the inscription are in handwriting. In Wacław Wejtka's file, under the letter P, card no. 122.The location of the gravestone and the date of the card are missing. At the description of the tombstone, a note: 'the letters of the inscription are engraved, gilded, four masonry pillars connected with iron bars', reference to Teliński's publication, page 51 and 59
