Gravestone of Andrej Stopyra

Kokutkowce | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a Crucifixion Group on a two-stage plinth and two-stage base. Cross with arms ending in a trillium, on a plinth. At the intersection of the arms of the cross a relief figure of the Crucified Christ, above a titulus. To the left of the cross a figure of the Virgin Mary with a maforium on her head, with her hands folded in prayer. To the right a figure of St John, in his left hand a book, in his right hand a cross. All figures on their own bases. Second step of base and first step of plinth with chamfered top edges. The second step of the plinth enclosed by a simplified beam, covered by a panel. On the front a panel closed with a full overhanging arch, in it an engraved inscription.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2021-2022 9 przez zespół specjalistów z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie i Muzeum Narodowego w Warszawie w składzie dr Paweł Drabarczyk vel Grabarczyk, dr. Bartłomiej Gutowski (kierownik projektu), dr Magdalena Olszewska dr Magdalena Tarnowska. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w katalogu Instyttutu Polonika. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
