Tombstone of Anna Pilipa

Chorostków | Ukraine

Burial site marked by a statue of St Anne on a two-stage plinth and base. Statue on its own base. The saint depicted frontally. She holds a book in her left hand and holds her right hand over her heart. She is dressed in a long, slightly ruffled robe and cloak. The left half of the cloak is wrapped over her left shoulder. On her head a veil. The first step of the plinth in the form of rocks, with chamfered upper edges. The second step of the plinth in the form of rocks. On it at the front a rectangular plaque at the top enclosed by a full overhanging arch. On the plaque an oval space left by a porcelain photograph, framed by engraved laurel branches, below an engraved inscription.
