Tombstone of Atanasia Galik

Nowostawce | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a gravestone, at the head of which is a cross on a two-stepped plinth and base. Cross with chamfered edges, on a plinth. At the intersection of the arms a relief figure of Christ, below a skull with tibias, above a titulus. The first step of the plinth with chamfered upper edges, on the front an engraved inscription. The second step of the pedestal covered with a hipped roof, on the sides engraved frames closed with an overhanging sharp arch. On the front a panel enclosed with a full arch, in which a relief of the figure of Mary is carved. The figure is portrayed frontally with her hands folded in prayer, standing on clouds, wearing a long gown with a veil.
