The burial place was originally marked by a statue of St Benedict on a two-stepped plinth and base. The saint is shown in a kneeling position, wearing monastic garb with his hands folded in a prayer gesture. The first step of the plinth with chamfered upper edges. The second step of the pedestal is covered by a profiled panel with the saint's name (No. 1) engraved on the front. On the pedestal at the front an engraved inscription No. 2.
