Tombstone of Fabian Gadziecki

Chorostków | Ukraine

Burial site marked by cross on plinth and base. Cross with lower arm, tapering upwards with trilobed arms. In the finial of the cross a flag-shaped titulus, with an engraved : IN / RI //. At the intersection of the arms a relief figure of Christ, below, on the protruding lower part of the cross, a skull with tibias. The base with moulded upper edges. Perpendicular pedestal covered with a wider moulded panel, on the front an engraved inscription (1). Engraved inscription on the base to the front (2). Engraved inscription on the left side of the plinth (3).

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2021-2022 9 przez zespół specjalistów z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie i Muzeum Narodowego w Warszawie w składzie dr Paweł Drabarczyk vel Grabarczyk, dr. Bartłomiej Gutowski (kierownik projektu), dr Magdalena Olszewska dr Magdalena Tarnowska. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w katalogu Instyttutu Polonika. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
