Framed grave site, on the frame a low iron fence (remains), in the centre of the grave site a low square column (glazed surface), surmounted by a female head, made of bronze, probably representing Sophie Bryndza. On the front of the column an inscription.

Sophie Thérèse Adrienne Bryndza, née Clémenceau (1853-1923), born on 19 May 1853 in Nantes (Loire-Atlantique), daughter of Paul 'Benjamin' Clémenceau (1810-1897), doctor of medicine, and Sophie Eucharie Emma Gauthereau (1817-1903), sister of Georges Clemenceau, former Prime Minister of France. On 30 December 1889, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, she married Ferdinand Bryndza; a press release described her husband as 'one of the most sympathetic members of the foreign press in Paris, for the integrity, honesty and loyalty of his character'; she murdered her husband for adultery in the marital flat at 18 rue Singer. She died on 20 March 1923 in Sèvres (Hauts-de-Seine), and was buried on 22 March 1923, transferred from Sèvres (Seine-et-Oise)

MLW French-language hourglass: "Ferdinand Bryndza, correspondant parisien du Wiener Tagblatt, Officier de la Légion d'Honneur, died on 3 May 1891 at his residence 18 rue Singer Paris-Passy at the age of 54, buried in Père Lachaise cemetery, signed by Bryndza's widow Fredinand, her sister Mrs Rosalie Boxhorn and her children and families Clémenceau, Jacquet, Raiga and Jacqu-emaire."
