Tombstone of Franciszka, Jan and Zofia Mazur

Chorostków | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a cross on a plinth. Cross with arms terminating in a trillium form, with symmetrical half shafts in the lower, wider part. At the intersection of the arms a relief figure of Christ, above a titulus, below a skull and tibias. Cross flanked by a groove. At the back on the arms, engraved rosettes; at the intersection of the arms, a smaller cross engraved. The plinth tapering upwards, with chamfered upper edges. On the front a panel with a rectangular uplift, in it an engraved inscription.

DOM / Wieczności S.P. / Fra[n]ciszki ur. 1870 / Jana ur. 189[4][r] / Zo[fii] ur 1898 r / Mazur. um 1899 r. //.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2017-2019 przez zespół z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie pod kierunkiem prof. Anny Sylwii Czyż i dr. Bartłomieja Gutowskiego. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w książce "Cmentarze dawnego powiatu tarnopolskiego", t. 1 i 2, pod red. A. S. Czyż i B. Gutowskiego, Warszawa 2017-2019 roku. Karty inwentaryzacyjne opublikowane zostały w katalogu on-line - http://cmentarzetarnopolskie.uksw.edu.pl/. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
