On the pedestal a stepped flat, lightweight slab, at the head a rectangular stele. Inscriptions on the stele (1) and on a white marble plaque with a pigeon motif (2).

Francis Lemarque properly Nathan Korb (1917-2002), born on 25 November 1917 in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, son of Joseph Korb (born c. 1891 in Poland, died 1933 in Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, Val-de-Marne, women's tailor) and Rosa Eidelman (born 1893 in Sokoly, died 1943 in Auschwitz concentration camp, dressmaker). Professionally a singer, composer and lyricist; awarded the title Officier Ordre des arts et lettres on 28 September 1984. Married to Ginette Richès, father of Stéphane Korb (b. 1954), composer of, among others, the songs 'Umbrellas of Cherbourg' (1964) and 'Sky over Paris' (2008). He died on 20 April 2002 in Varenne Saint-Hilaire (Val-de-Marne), and was buried around 22 April 2002. A plaque in his honour placed on his birth house in Paris at 51 rue de Lappe proclaims: "Ici est né le 25 Novembre 1917 | Francis Lemarque | Fils de Rose et Joseph KORB | Auteur Compositeur Interprète | Poète de Paris | Décèdé le 20 Avril 2002".

Ginetta "Ginny" Richès (1924-2019), born on 6 December 1924 in Egypt, daughter of Albert Richès and Gaby Edrei. She married Francis Lemarque (Nathan Korb) on 20 August 1948 in Paris. From this marriage were born: Danièle Korb, Stéphane Korb (born 1954, composer) and Michel Korb. Died on 5 August 2019 in Bry-sur-Marne (Val-de-Marne) at the age of 94, buried on 9 August 2019.
