Tombstone of Helena Kruczkowska

Borki Wielkie | Ukraine

Burial site originally marked by a statue of St Helena on a two-stage plinth. The statue has been lost and lies beside it. The saint dressed in a wide, heavily ruffled gown. Her hair is long and covered with a veil. In her right hand she holds a cross. The first step of the pedestal is covered by a wider, moulded panel, with panels on four sides with quarter-circle chamfered corners. In the front panel an engraved inscription.
