Tombstone of Jakub Bobowski

Chorostków | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a cross on a five foot pedestal and base. Straight cross, on a plinth. At the intersection of the arms a relief carved figure of Christ, above a titulus, below a skull and tibias. The second and third steps of the plinth with chamfered upper edges. Fourth step of plinth with moulded upper edges. Fifth step of plinth rectangular with chamfered side edges, surmounted by simplified beam with hipped roof. An engraved inscription on the pedestal from the rond.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2021-2022 9 przez zespół specjalistów z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie i Muzeum Narodowego w Warszawie w składzie dr Paweł Drabarczyk vel Grabarczyk, dr. Bartłomiej Gutowski (kierownik projektu), dr Magdalena Olszewska dr Magdalena Tarnowska. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w katalogu Instyttutu Polonika. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
