Tombstone of Jan Pazowski

Burial site originally marked by a cross on a three-tier plinth and two-tier base. Cross not preserved. First and second steps of base with moulded upper edges. First step of plinth with chamfered upper edges. The second step of the pedestal with profiled upper edges. Engraved inscription to the front (2). The third step of the pedestal high, tapering upwards, with profiled upper edges. On the front, an engraved frame closed with a carved pointed arch, in which an engraved inscription. The whole is enclosed by a fence consisting of bars joined by slats.

1. Ś. P. / Jan / PAZOWSKI / zm. 12 Lut. / 1884 r. / wieku lat 40 //.
2. Krótkie życie lecz piękne / szlachetne i czyste Kochał ludzi / i również światło wiekuiste które / mu niech świeci w wieku wieków / Amen. //.

In Wacław Wejtka's file, under the letter P, card number 77, dated 1934. According to the file, the gravestone's location is sector "A. II N12 c, next to the road; on a common grave with Włodzimierz Sławiński and Ewa Pazowska". Next to the description of the gravestone there is an annotation: "with a granite cross at the top, fence made of iron rails".
