Tombstone of Jan Szewczyk

Karviná | Czech Republic

Burial place marked by cross on stele and three-tier plinth, in band. Cross on pedestal with arms closed bipartite, wider at lower end. At the junction of the arms, shaped in the form of an undersized octagon, the metal mounts of the unpreserved figure of the Crucified. The stele with a protuberance in the middle and chamfered upper corners, filled in at the front with a stepped panel ending in three semicircular arches. In the central arch a blank space left by an unpreserved oval photograph and a partly engraved and partly relief inscription.
