The burial place is marked by a protagonal gravestone placed at an angle on a low plinth. A simple Latin cross is engraved on the top and bottom of the slab, with an engraved Mayan inscription between them. The whole is surrounded by a simple cast-iron fence with diagonal bars ending in round rosettes at the joints.
