Tombstone of Joseph Safijan

Burial site marked by a statue of St Joseph with the Infant Jesus on a two-tier plinth and two-tier base. The statue on its own base. The saint holds a lily flower in his left hand and the infant Jesus with a globe in his right hand. The steps of the base glazed. First pedestal step with moulded upper edges. The second step of the pedestal high, with a frieze encircling the pedestal on four sides, on which is a bas-relief motif of a stylised arch in a donkey's back, covered by a wider panel with pediments and simplified acroterions on each side. On the front a panel enclosed by an overhanging arch with moulding, within which is an engraved inscription. On the other sides engraved frames with quarter chamfered corners.
