Tombstone of Katharina Grela

Kokutkowce | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a statue on its own base and a two-stepped plinth with a two-stepped base. Statue of the saint in antique robes and mantle. Hands folded in a gesture of prayer. First step of plinth with chamfered upper edges. The second step of the plinth surmounted by a beam. On the front an engraved frame within it an engraved inscription. On the sides, figures of saints in gabled niches. On the right, a saint with a beard and moustache is depicted wearing a cloak and girt. In the right hand a cross, in the left hand a book. In the left-hand niche a female figure with her hands folded over her chest. Also wearing an unbuttoned cloak and belted gown.
