Tombstone of Maria Lisiatyńska

Potok Złoty | Ukraine
Burial place marked by a statue of the Virgin Mary on a two-stepped plinth and base, in a band. Mary stands in slight contrapposto, hands folded in a prayer gesture. She is dressed in a long gown and cloak, the halves of which are flung over her left arm. Her long hair falls over her back and breasts, her feet barefoot. The base is grosgrained, with chamfered upper edges. First step of plinth with moulded top edges. On the front an engraved frame with quarter chamfered upper corners, with serrated upper edge. In it an engraved inscription. The second tier of the plinth tapering upwards, with a simplified beam consisting of an architrave and cornice, covered by a four-sided stepped roof. On the sides engraved frames with quarter chamfered upper corners. On the front a rectangular space for a photograph, on the right an olive branch executed in relief.
