Tombstone of Maria Wyspianska

Burial site marked by a statue of the Virgin Mary originally on a column in the form of a tree trunk, plinth and two-stage base. Statue on its own base. Mary depicted frontally in long robe and mantle. Hands folded in prayer gesture, head not preserved. The column originally on a base with claws, now overturned, lies beside the tombstone. On it an irregular panel from an unpreserved photograph. On the pedestal at the front an engraved frame with quarter-circle chamfered corners, within which is an engraved inscription.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2021-2022 9 przez zespół specjalistów z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie i Muzeum Narodowego w Warszawie w składzie dr Paweł Drabarczyk vel Grabarczyk, dr. Bartłomiej Gutowski (kierownik projektu), dr Magdalena Olszewska dr Magdalena Tarnowska. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w katalogu Instyttutu Polonika. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
