Tombstone of Nina Pyjkowska

Ihrowica | Ukraine

Burial site marked by cross with angel figure on two-stage plinth and two-stage base. The figure placed on its own base. From front, figure of angel seated on rocks, right hand resting on head, left hand holding laurel wreath. The figure is dressed in a long robe, tied at the waist, with long hair and a headband with a star on the forehead. Behind the angel is a cross in the form of a tree trunk. The first step of the pedestal, on the front and side, engraved frames with quarter chamfered corners. The second step of the pedestal finished with a simplified beam covered with a panel enclosed by a hipped roof with volutes to the front. On the front a panel closed with an overhanging arch, inside an engraved inscription.

Inwentaryzacja cmentarzy dawnego powiatu buczackiego wykonana została w latach 2021-2022 9 przez zespół specjalistów z Instytutu Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie i Muzeum Narodowego w Warszawie w składzie dr Paweł Drabarczyk vel Grabarczyk, dr. Bartłomiej Gutowski (kierownik projektu), dr Magdalena Olszewska dr Magdalena Tarnowska. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w katalogu Instyttutu Polonika. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
