Tombstone of the Lviv Eagle

In the Prussian cemetery, in its old, overgrown part, there is the grave of Agnieszka Mykita, who died in 1919 from being wounded by a Ukrainian grenade. She is referred to by local Poles as the "Lviv Eagle".

The tombstone is made of concrete, in the shape of a vertical slab topped with a cross, on the slab a metal plaque with the inscription: "Agnieszka née Kowalska Mykita born. 12 January 1896 fell victim to Ukrainian grenades on 15 May 1919. Peace to her soul".
