Tombstone of Piotr Hanulak

Bajkowce | Ukraine

Burial place marked by a three-tier plinth with a statue of St Peter on a two-tier base. The plinth on its own moulded base terminates in a stepped base. On the front at the top a relief carved cross, below in a niche enclosed by a segmental arch the 3/4 figure of St Peter shown holding a key in his right hand, pressing it to his chest, in his left hand a book with an engraved cross. The plinth on the sides decorated with gabled closed panels. The first and second steps of the base to the top decorated with grosgraining. The third step with chamfered upper edges. The first step of the pedestal with chamfered upper edges, on the front an inscription engraved in two columns: left (1) and right (2).
