Tombstone of the Adamek family

The tomb is built on a nearly square plan, covered with four slabs on a base (the central one is double, raised in relation to the others), at the head of which is a stele, framed on the sides with cuboids of the same height (on them, from the front, metal-glass sconces), bearing a hexagonal, undersized finial with a chamfered upper edge. Adjacent to the lower part of the stele is a narrow, five-sided jardiniere. All elements set on a common base, each part on its own plinths. On the finial frame an engraved inscription with letters filled in with white paint (1). In the tympanum surmounted by a segmented arch is a copper alloy cast of the head of Christ wearing a crown of thorns, shown in profile and placed at the junction of the arms of an isosceles cross, behind which a halo is visible. The tympanum is separated from the stele by a lintel. Below a panel, in which is a plaque with an engraved inscription (2), framed on both sides by supports adjacent to the perpendiculars with chamfered inner edges and heads elaborated in the same manner, supporting protruding elements which are part of the frame of the stele's finial. On the pedestal of the cuboid on the right, in the upper right corner, the signature of the stonecutter.
