Tombstone of the Doliński family

Vilnius | Lithuania

Burial place marked by a cross on a four foot pedestal and base. Latin cross with chamfered edges with visible mounts after Christ figure, on plinth. First step of pedestal with chamfered top edges, inscription inscribed on front and sides. Second step of plinth with moulded upper edges, engraved inscription to front. The third step of the pedestal of considerable height, on the front two inscription fields distinguished by glazing with quarter-circle chamfered corners. On the sides two inscription fields with quarter-circle chamfered edges. The fourth step of the plinth with quarter-circular chamfered lower corners, on the front a shallow panel repeating the shape of the plinth with a relief inscription. The plinth with moulded upper edges with concave carved crests.

According to the dossier of Lucjan Uziębła the gravestone was enclosed by a metal fence. According to Wacław Wejtka's file, the gravestone was originally framed by a fence with iron bars, with two benches inside. After Teliński he states that the inscriptions and decorations were gilded. The gravestone was decorated with metal wreaths.
