Gravestone of the Gradek family

The burial place marked by a tomb on a rectangular plan, covered by a wider slab. On it two narrower, rectangular, slightly convex slabs. At the head of the tomb is a gabled stele on a pedestal and base. The stele slightly tapering towards the top, polished, on the front with an engraved cross with arms ending in caps, below which an oval photograph and an engraved inscription (1). The top of the stele shows a trace of the attachment of a finial, possibly a cross. The photograph shows the bust shown frontally. The base is polished with chamfered top edges, on it an engraved signature to the front right. The polished pedestal, cuboidal on the front with a ritual inscription (2).

Projekt realizowany przez Fundację Akcja Kultura pod kierunkiem dr. Bartłomieja Gutowskiego. Wykonawcami są studenci Instytutu Historii Sztuki UKSW. Prace rozpoczęły się w roku 2022 i obejmują dokumentację wszystkich nagrobków związanych z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałych przed 1945 rokiem. W roku 2022 wykonana została dokumentacja w Karwinie Dołach, Karwinie Meksyku, Czeskim Cieszynie i Ligotce Kameralnej. Projekt realizowany jest we współpracą z lokalnymi środowiskami Polskimi.
