Tombstone of the Jung family

On a low pedestal stepped, flat slab. At the head, a stone box jardiniere, behind it, on a stepped base, a tall stele with a completely degraded slab with a triangular finial. On the stele six or eight illegible inscriptions set in two columns below a small cross (1), (2).

Alexandrine Anna Jung, née Lemoigne, born in Paris aged 44, resided in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. She died on 4 April 1873 in her matrimonial flat at 180 rue de Rivoli. She was buried on 1-6 April 1873 in the Bonnafier crypt (annual number 2936), and again on 24 May 1873 in this grave (annual number 1230). No occupation. She was the daughter of Honoré Lemoigne and Catherine Alexandrine Roubé, a pensioner, who lived at the same address. Wife of Antoine Jung, a watchmaker. The death was reported by, among others, Alfred Alexandre Lemoigne, bookseller (libraire), aged 37, resident in Paris, place Vendôme 26 (AdP AD Paris 1e, no. 328 of 5 April 1873).
