Tombstone of the Kowalowski family and the Żył family

Karviná | Czech Republic

Burial place marked by gravestone on base, at head of which cross on plinth and base. Cross on plinth, with chamfered upper edges. On the cross a titulus with the inscription: IN / RI, below a figure of Christ. The pedestal with a rectangular uplift, framed on the sides by pyramids. On the front of the pedestal in a panel repeating the shape of the pedestal an engraved inscription (1). On the front of the base an engraved inscription (2). The monument is flanked by plaques. On the panel on the left an engraved inscription (3), on the right an engraved inscription (4). The tombstone consisting of three panels, where the central one is wider and enclosed by a segmental arch.

1. Tu / odpoczywa / MARJA / KOWALOWSKA / + 3/4 1925 w 63. roku życia / FRANCISZEK / KOWALOWSKI / + 28./11. 1936 w 79 roku życia //.

2. Niech odpoczywają / w pokoju. //.

3. MARIA ŻYŁOWA / * 8.XII.1888 + 19.X.1971 //.

4. + Ks. FRYDERYK / ŻYŁA / * 4.II.1911 +28.III.1986 //.
