Tombstone of the Pieńczykowski (?) family

A figure of a mourner with an urn on a high pedestal is set on a high mound covering the tomb. The mourner stands in a contrapposto, with his legs crossed (right foot lost). With his right hand, leaning against the plinth with the urn to his right, he covers his cheek. Left hand bent at the elbow and leaning in front against the plinth. Mourner girded at hip level with robe falling from right shoulder. Urn partially lost, resembling a kyatos. Decorated with bas-relief leaves. Through the plinth a kir and chain are hung. On the four sides of the plinth, panels with corners filled with quarter palmettoes and convex carved shackles.

The dating is indicated by the form of the tomb's finial analogous to that of the tombstone of Antonina Raciborowska (d. 1808) from the church in Milatyń Nowy and by the foundation activity of Stanisław Pieńczykowski circa 1808, then owner of the Medvedowce estate. See Czyż 2010, pp. 87-88
