Tombstone of the Piotrowski family

Soborne | Ukraine

Burial site marked by a statue of the Virgin Mary on a two-tier plinth and two-tier base. The figure on its own base, in counterpoint, hands crossed on breast. Mary dressed in long ruffled gown and cloak, veil on head. Shod feet protrude. First step of plinth with moulded upper edges. Second step of plinth finished with simplified moulded beam. Covered by a hipped roof. On the sides and back frames with quarter-circular chamfered corners. On the front a panel with chamfered upper corners. In it an engraved inscription.

Anny Sylwii Czyż i dr. Bartłomieja Gutowskiego. Materiał opracowany został w formie kart ewidencyjnych obiektów zabytkowych i opublikowany w książce "Cmentarze dawnego powiatu tarnopolskiego", t. 1 i 2, pod red. A. S. Czyż i B. Gutowskiego, Warszawa 2017-2019 roku. Karty inwentaryzacyjne opublikowane zostały w katalogu on-line - http://cmentarzetarnopolskie.uksw.edu.pl/. Dokumentacja obejmuje wszystkie nagrobki związane z polskim dziedzictwem kulturowym (przede wszystkim rozstrzygający jest napis w języku polskim) powstałe przed 1945 rokiem.
