Tombstone of Rozalia Lisowicz

Kokutkowce | Ukraine

Burial site originally marked by a cross on a two-stepped plinth and base. The perpetuated cross, on a moulded plinth, lies beside the gravestone. Arms of cross terminating in rhomboid. First step of plinth with chamfered upper edges. On the front a frame with chamfered quarter-circle corners, with a rhombic inscription. The second step of the plinth with a simplified beam consisting of architrave and cornice, covered by a wider panel, on four sides gables with acroterions at the corners. On the front an oval panel with a bas-relief figure of St Rozalia. The saint has her hands folded on her chest. She is dressed in a long ruffled robe and mantle, with a veil on her head.
