Tombstone of Szymon and Tatiana Koltowski

Burial site originally marked by a sculptural group on a two-stage plinth and three-stage base. The second step of the plinth and the perpetuated figures lie alongside. The sculptural group consists of a cross on its own base, with a relief carved figure of the crucified Christ at the crossing of the arms. On the sides at the base two full-figure figures on their own bases. The male figure (John the Baptist?) is depicted frontally, in slight contrapposto, dressed in long robes, with his left hand folded on his chest, in his left hand a fragment of a staff (cross?). The second figure depicts a woman (Mother of God?) shown frontally in slight contrapposto, dressed in long robes, with her hands folded in a gesture of prayer. The heads are not preserved on both figures. The first step of the plinth with profiled upper edges. The second step of the plinth ending in a plain frieze, above which is a moulded wider panel. In front a rectangular panel with an engraved inscription. On the other sides a panel with quarter-circle chamfered corners. In the right panel, a bas-relief figure of Simon the Apostle, shown in front, wearing long robes. He holds a saw in his left hand and a book in his right. In the panel on the back side, a male figure shown frontally, wearing long robes. Left hand folded over belt, in right hand an open book held to chest. In the left panel, a bas-relief female figure (St Tatiana? ) shown frontally, wearing long robes, cloak and veil falling to her shoulders. The left hand is bent at the elbow, holding the hem of the cloak at waist level with the palm of the hand. Right hand bent holding cross at breast level.
