Tombstone of Tekla Blaszkiewicz

Ihrowica | Ukraine

Burial site marked by a statue of St Tekla on a two-stage plinth and two-stage base. Statue on its own base. Saint in slight contrapposto, dressed in long robes. In her left hand she holds a palm branch, with her right hand she holds a cross folded on her chest. At her feet to the left a figure of a bull. The first step of the plinth with moulded upper edges, on each side a fluted frame with quarter chamfered corners. Second step of plinth finished with plain frieze above which wider moulded panels. On all sides a fluted frame with quarter-circular chamfered corners, on the front an engraved inscription.
