Tombstone of Waclaw Konopko

Burial site marked by a cross on a boulder-shaped plinth and base. Cross with gabled arms, on plinth with visible mount after Christ figure. Boulder partially polished, relief inscription to front. The base on the front framed by a concrete band.

Ś.+P. / WACŁAW KONOPKO / Por. 3 P. 5 ap. W.P. / odzn. Krzyżem Walecznych / i ord. Virtuti Militari / ZM. DN. 12 MAJA 1922 R. / W WIEKU LAT 25. / Pokój Jego duszy //.

Additional information:

According to Wacław Wejtka's file, he killed himself on Zarzecz as a result of careless and fast driving. A cement cross with the inscription remains behind the memorial: S + P Konopko, probably from an earlier gravestone. See sector 12-a, no. 13.
