Oskar Zięta (1975-), architect, designer and sculptor. Graduate of the Szczecin University of Technology and the Federal University of Technology in Zurich, where he obtained his doctorate and conducted research on computer-controlled metal processing. He is the author of FiDU technology, which uses internal pressure to shape welded metal sheets. He received the Red Dot award for the PLOPP stool in 2008 and his designs have been included in the collections of the Centre Pompidou, the Museum für Gestaltung and the Vitra Design Museum, among others. He runs Zieta Studio and creates from applied design to large-scale sculptures in public spaces.
