The Radziwill Palace in Ołyka was built in the mid-16th century on the initiative of Mikolaj "Czarny" Radziwill. It was later extended by Albrycht Stanislaw, adding walls and bastions, and in the 18th century Michał "Rybeńko" gave it a Baroque splendour, abandoning its defensive character. The building is quadrilateral in shape with a large courtyard and a clock tower at the gate. Before the war, the palace housed a rich collection of works of art and memorabilia of the Radziwiłł family. After 1945, it housed a psychiatric hospital.
