"The Panorama of Transylvania", also known as the "Battle of Sibiu", is a painting preserved in fragments and painted by a group of painters under the direction of Jan Styka. The painting immortalises the victory of the Hungarian insurgent army under General Jozef Bem at the walls of Sibiu in 1849. Two Polish legions fought in the Hungarian army: Jozef Bem's and Jozef Wysocki's.
