Polonics in Albania

In Albania, in addition to objects such as the monument to Frederic Chopin or Stanslav Zuber, there are small traces of Polish cultural heritage, including:

1. the room dedicated to the memory of Lech Kaczyński in the Headquarters of the Albanian Supreme Chamber of Control in Tirana.

2. the plaque dedicated to Lech Kaczyński in Tirana.

3. Polish memorial oak tree in Park Europa in Tirana.

4. The Polonia Park in Farkë where 100 oak trees were placed for the 100th anniversary of Independence.

On 4 May 2018, with the participation of the President of the Republic of Albania, God Ilir Meta inaugurated the "Polish Park", where 100 oak trees were symbolically planted to mark the 100th anniversary of Poland's independence. Two years later, a marble plaque describing the idea of the park was unveiled.

5. commemorative plaque on Europa Boulevard in the town of Pogradec in honour of Nicolaus Copernicus.

6. the Nicolaus Copernicus Non-Public Secondary School in Elbasan.

7. Plaque dedicated to Bishop F. Malchinsky in the church in Kallmet on the outskirts of Lezha.
