Polish architects and urban planners in North Korea

A team consisting of Bogdan Cybulski, Mirosława Dworzanska, Stefan Słoński developed the plans for the city of Wŏnsan.

The team comprising Piotr Zaremba (team leader ) and Andrzej Jędraszko (who also drew up , among other things, a plan for the Karachi region in Pakistan) , Zbigniew Karakiewicz, Zasław Malicki, Kazimierz Pancakowski, Bronisław Sekula and , were the creators of the plan for the city of Ch'ŏngjin (Czon-Dżin, 1954-1956).

The team of Zofia Gurtzman, Zbigniew Pawlak, Kazimierz Skorupski, Jan Świąć, and Henryk Żukowski designed the buildings of the settlement in Pyongyang (c. 1956).

Zaslaw Malicki designed one of Pyongyang's districts (1954-1956).

Piotr Zaremba worked in North Korea from 1953 to 1959, where he also carried out other urban planning projects, as well as in China (1954-1956) and Vietnam, and in Africa. He was a lecturer at Tsinghua University in Beijing and in Vietnam.
